(Resolved) vrscene indie

I'm new to creating vrscenes and my first attempt gave me a warning that I couldn't create a vrscene in Indie. Is this true? Are there any tutorials that can help me learn how to create vrscenes? Finally, can I create a vrscene with volumes and grid shader?

Hello gregfed , I guess you are using the official V-Ray for Houdini Update 1. I think this restriction were canceled by sidefx some time after the release, you'll need to update to latest nightly build in https://nightlies.chaosgroup.com/#/ . If do not have access to nightlies will need to write to support@chaosgroup.com

Vrscene export from Houdini Indie is enabled only for some latest Houdini 18.x. For all the other versions it's forbidden by SideFX restrictions.

It's just a parameter on the ROP.

yes, VRScene export should work with Indie. The option is under the V-Ray Renderer ROP's "Export" tab.
