  • (Resolved) Shading problem in lowpoly objects

    Hello.

I'm getting some weird shading problems on lowpoly objects and no matter what I do (normals, subdive, etc) I always get de same result.
You can see the problem in the attached image.
Is this a normal behaviour or am I missing something?
I'm fairly new in Houdini so it could be easy my fault...

This is a classic issue in all rendering engines, think its called the terminator effect and most renderers solve it by offsetting the shadow normal(or something like that :P)

in vray its on the light and under shadow tab a parameter called bias.
