  • (Resolved) How to instance Vray IES Lights

hello, i need to create a matrix of same ies lights in a interior scene, i tried object-merge+copy&transform nodes, but it didn't work.
the instancing node didn't work neither. i checked the manual, found no relevant contents. so any one knows what's the proper way to
    instancing vray lights?

    thanks

Instancer object with isntance to points enabled, the points are inside the object, and pick the light in the path to be instanced. Cd and intensity attributes control color and multiplier, and you need to add them to the exported attributes list in the vray properties of the instancer object.

As a side note - you can also use the string point attrubute @instancepath and point it to the object level path of the IES, e.g. "s@instancepath = '/obj/my_IES_light_01" - saying this in case it's more convenient for you to do it that way.

        Best regards!
