I have been trying to create something like an illuminated phone- screen. My current approach is using a Light_Material for the screen content and a glass Vray Material for the screen itself and plugging this into a Blend Material. I have been playing with the various settings (additive vs normal, double sided) but I am not getting the result I desire. I am wondering if this is the correct approach to create such a material?

Hey thexdan ,
Are the screen itself and the glass screen protector a single object? Maybe you could try separating them instead of using the blend material?
Anyway, could you please post an image of the result you're getting so we can get a better idea of the problem you are facing?
