  • units and sss density

    I have 2 question:

    1. the sss density on alsurface shader needs to be 100 instead of 1 to be a reasonable value. Is this correct? the sss on the skinshader works fine with default values

    2. what does the unit scale do exactly. we thought maybe it changed the values to match maya for example so the sss and disp values would be the same but it doesnt seem to be that. Is it just the math behind the hood for scenes that are huge or supersmall?

    Regards Alexis

LeoYfver, yes, the density scale is a multiplier for radius parameters. I guess the problem is caused by scene metric scale not taken into account.
