  • (Resolved) Log window position

    Hi,

Were does V-Ray store the log window position on screen? We have an artist here that can't find his log window although it's ON (I'm sure he dragged it off screen...).

    Best,
    David.

That's something that often happens to me when moving between local two display machine and remote one display - log window gets stranded on the second display There's a handy button that resets the VFB position, would be great if it resets the log window position too.

I think that similar problem exists with Light Lister, can we include it in the Reset position?

I've added light lister reset menu item to top menu: V-Ray -> Settings -> UI -> Reset Light Lister Window.
Will be there in the next nightly.

Perfect, thank you for the swift response! That was amazing!

As a small note, now we have Reset Log Window Position in the Vray ROP settings, and Reset Light Lister in the menu. Maybe move the Log Window Reset to the menu too?

Reset Log Window is already there... May be you mean Reset VFB? This could be done...

Well, thanks. However, It does not work for me now... After restart, with clean scene, trying to reset window... And nothing no log window anywhere :-/
And when I open older scene, the window log appears there.

                          Dear woytha, hello.

Please keep in mind that with V-Ray 5 Update 2 we are using V-Ray Core version 5.20.02 and the log is now implemented in the V-Ray Frame Buffer - in its right wing, next to Layers and Stats, like this.
Take a look and confirm that the wanted information is properly shown there.

                          Best regards,
                          TS
