Can I use V-Ray 5 with 18.5.499 or only the specified V-Ray Houdini version which says 18.5.408?

There are V-Ray 5 specific builds for 18.5.499, check the nightlies releases.

lagauche , yes there is V-Ray 5 for Houdini 18.5.499 but it is only in nighlies section. If you do not have access to there than will need to write to support@chaosgroup.com
