Vray Decal Stacking

Anyone know how to layer or stack the vray decals. If I put one on top of the other, the other one sort of disappears. They don't really like to sit on top of each other. Or do my decals need/require alphas/transparency? I was hoping to take black and white images, and just do an additive or multiply approach (I'm assuming there are no blending mode options here, cause I can't find them.)

There is "Z Order" parameter it is used to change order of decals. Is this what you are looking for? Can you share a scene with the problem?
