Why can't I create a Vray BitmapBufffer node from the TAB menu in a MaterialBuilder? Also, why can't I create a V-Ray TextBitmap node from the TAB menu in a MaterialBuilder? What is the philosophy here?

Why can't I create a Vray BitmapBufffer node from the TAB menu in a MaterialBuilder?

Hey colin_hannon ,
The BitmapBuffer is a container (with some extra parameters) for the file on disk. You then need a UV Generator, and a TexBitmap to apply the texture in your material.
We opted to simplify this process with the V-Ray Image File VOP - under the hood, it generates the BitmapBuffer, the UV Generator, and the TexBitmap nodes.

Why do you need to create those manually? There is image file node.
