I just bought Vray and have installed it. I think ive installed it correctly, but im getting lots of error messages. Any ideas?

1. Which V-Ray for Houdini build are you attempting to install (i.e. is it a nightly build, or the one from the downloads page)?
2. What Houdini version are you attempting to install it for?
3. If you open Houdini and go to Windows -> Python Shell, what is the Python version being printed at the top?
When you run the installer, in the Advanced tab, there is information on the supported Houdini versions. My hunch here is that there is a python version mismatch.
FYI, the installer is simply placing a vray_for_houdini.json file under (e.g.) C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software\Houdini 20.0.590\packages. You can open the .json file to check if things make sense.

The builds on the Downloads page appear to support Houdini up to version 20.0.590.
May I suggest messaging our support team with a request for access to the stable nightly builds of V-Ray for Houdini? You will find V-Ray builds for Houdini up to version 20.5.332.
