Hide HDR

Hello,
How can I hide HDRI image in the background but keep the effect?
If I select "invisible", it does same thing as disabling it.

sounds like that might be a bug. In maya "invisible" just makes the light source itself not visible, but the effects of the lighting and reflections/spec are still there.

That's what I was expecting too. The best I can do is hide the HDRI from alpha channel

Are you in SOP or Solaris? Both work as expected so not really sure what you are doing. Here is SOP level. But if do the same in Solaris it works as well

is a GIF btw so you might have to download it. The Forums does not play the GIF by default

I never used solaris before so I guess I'm in the SOP. If I click invisible, it just goes black.

is because you have to turn on dome spherical in the dome light, unless your HDR is not full then you might want to switch HDRs.

And if that is not the case maybe try to download the latest vray, it could be a bug on the version that you are using.
