  • vrayProxy save to 3ds max

    Hi,
it's possible to export vray proxy from houdini, and load it to 3ds max so it had matIDs so I just simple assign multi-Sub material?

Since there are no indices in Houdini (everything is string-based) there is no "simple assign" way.
However, V-Ray proxy exporter in Houdini writes "path" geomery attribute as shader sets proxy attribute, this could be used to assign materials:

Unfortunatelly, there was a bug in the exporter writing object's scene name instead of path attribute, it's fixed in the latest stable nightly builds.
