how to you apply vray soft box to a lighit and how do yo exclude light from object
new to Houdini, i am good with Vray with 3ds max, I find I have no idea on how I would go about excluding light or applying vray softbox to a light.
any help will be awesome thank you.
1. "applying vray softbox to a light": You could choose any texture vop node with "op:" syntax, e.g. if your softbox texture is in /mat/vray_softbox you could specify it as "op:/mat/vray_softbox" at the light texture path.
2. "excluding light": Light linking in Houdini: https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/...es/linker.html

the light linking doesn't work. it's either this is outdated. or I am missing something.
