  • (Resolved) Chaos cloud export button is gone :(

    Hi,

Any plans on bringing it back or did it move to somewhere else?
I requested a GPU export option to be added in the past, like what Vray for Modo offers, is this still on to-do list?

Then I get directed to the web form, to actually see the progress of my upload which is very nice.

    Best,
    Muhammed

Awesome! This is actually better than the old button in the shelf!
      Thanks Gosho!
What about a GPU option like what Vray for Modo has, so that I can tell the cloud this is a Cuda scene
exporting the Vrscene and doing the flags then uploading it manually is a lot of work,
And I love the tiny new icons for all Vray nodes, it definitely helps
      Thanks again!

      Best,
      Muhammed

The Cloud ROP should pick up that the V-Ray Renderer ROP is set to CUDA (screenshot below). Am I misunderstanding or does that answer your question ?

And yeah, fancy icons, woot woot

          Exactly what I needed, thanks!
I actually was not able to verify it works this way, thought it just always defaults to CPU
          Will do few tests tonight!

          Cheers!

I took the RGBA Combine node precisely because it's not supported on the GPU. Plug a texture in the red color and pipe it into diffuse. CPU and CUDA render differently. The result above is from the Cloud, therefore Cloud is using CUDA to do the rendering.

            Cheers!
