This took me a while to figure out, I had weird artifacts in my contact shadows like this



Going down on shadow bias to .0002 fixed the issue

The default value for shadow bias in other Vray plugins is 200 μm
In VFH it is 2 mm by default which is quite high and causes the artifacts I showed above.
I really think it should be .0002 by default instead of .002 for all lights..
This took me a long while to figure out, I thought it has something to do with my SSS or light leaking because of geometry overlapping.
If you think the behavior might be a bug, I can upload my scene. The apples are real world scale, around 5 CM tall
