  • Triplanar texture size/scale

    Seems like Triplanar texture scale/size parameter is not working. Changing it does not resize/tile the incoming texture. Can you look into it? Latest nightly W10,

    Hello psanitra , seems like we are missed a minor recent changes in TexTriplanar which are causing this. I've reported it, thanks for the notice!

      chakarov i`m doing some more stuff with triplanar, so just wanted to mention some of the other stuff not working there too. Like the random rotations/offsets base on face ID, or per user attribute. I tried attribute on points/prim, interger or float, export on user properties tab, but none of it seems to pick up and change the texture rotation/offset. One that seems to work is Object render by ID if i have multiple geo nodes.

        I can confirm that "render ID" is the only one that seems to work for me. Had the same problem on a recent job.

        I also had a weird issue where the triplanar textures were moving across the objects relative to the camera motion, but I couldn't reproduce it in a test scene :\

        I ended up just doing a custom offset per object and piping that in w/ a VRayUserFloat, this ultimately gave more control but it would be nice if the basic modes on the node worked as well.

            Hello again, random by attribute is working. Can be used with integers,floats,strings,written on points or primitives. But the objects should be packed, it's not working with regular meshes. About "Face Material ID", according to Gosho.Genchev this is a 3dsmax feature which is not yet implemented in VFH.
