  • [HOU-1649] override mtl node before BlendMtl doesnt always behave as expected

    override mtl node dont work when connected to the secondary input of a blend mtl but works when connected to base. Is this a bug that can be fixed or just the way it behaves.

    Hey, Alexis,

    you could invert the checker texture and plug it as the weight for the first BRDF ("weight_1") although I'm not sure that's the solution you're looking for. If you don't mind me asking, what are you guys trying to achieve ? Knowing this could help us figure out a better solution.

      yes. thats what we are doing now after we figured it out. But I feel this is a bug and its confusing for people who dont know that.
