Help FIle Still Not Working

I install Houdini and Vray once a month at the moment, everytime I install / update I can't remember the thing I have to do in the JSON file to get the Houdini Help working.

Something here...

I can never remember what it is. Someone said this would be fixed on next release. It isn't fixed.

Any help appreciated this is so debilitating......

This is reported to SideFX and we are waiting for the resolution as well.

Thanks! For some reason I couldn't find my original post in this forum. Since found and have amended JSON which works for me.

Ok, I've figured out that adding "${HFS}/bin;${VRAY_APPSDK}/bin" seems to fix the issue, new installers already contain this fix; could you pls check if this works for you?

Hi,

I fixed this by copying all the files starting with Qt from the houdini bin folder (it's only one or two of them but couldn't figure out which one, so I copied them all).

into the qt / bin folder, since then help works like it used to.

Hmm, we fixed this problem a month or so ago - do you guys use the installer or a custom variables setup ? (and yeah, it was the Qt libraries)
