  • Exr data window auto option

    Hi!

When using the exr data window auto option, only the alpha channel is being considered. This is a problem because sometimes there are other channels with values that are clipped away.
Is it possible to make it also consider other channels? At least the beauty RGB channels?

    Cheers!

Hello Hannes Drossel , I couldn't reproduce such a behavior here. Can you upload a simple scene, where the problem appear. Also what is your OS, Houdini and V-Ray versions.

      Hi chakarov !

Attatched a simple scene showing the problem.

      OS: centos-release-7-7.1908.0.el7.centos.x86_64
      Houdini: Houdini Core 17.5.327
      Vray: c636f2f

      exrdatawindow.zip

There is a grid there that has no alpha contribution set using object properties. It is cropped out by the data window.

      Cheers!

Hello again Hannes Drossel and sorry for late reply, this seems to be a known issue but unfortunately yet not fixed. It is not VFH specific.
