hello! tried out version 43003, 69e4c94 with the example scene in this thread and the issue seems not to have been fixed. i cant render the cube even if visibility is turned off on the alembic node.

houdini 17.5 460
linux centos 7

i also get this error in the log:
Error setting parameter GeomMeshFile::use_alembic_visibility: "Setting property value error."

There is smth wrong with the commits with the "use_alembic_visibility" parameter implementation... I'm fixing this now...

Tested it and it works now thanks! just to add it is still an issue if i would have use visibility, if its unticked the box the keyed never renders even with or without abcfullvisibility.

Yes, because I as wrote already this fix was a hack to just make this property work.
If use visibility is off then we are back to the original issue and that's why it doesn't render.
I may find some time to fix the original issue, but this original issue is again highly dependent on the fact from the previous post stating that there is a bug in Houdini that sets invalid time that is resulting in valid time in vray plugin making even an attempt to fix the origin issue fail because input data is just wrong.
