Material Displace

Hello, I've downloaded the last nightly build and DIsplace from material seems not working. I only can displace with object property.

Oh my bad ! i have to add a convert node before material node and now it's work.

Is it something normal ?

I create a geo with VDB convert to polygon. I add displacement vray parameter at object level. Displace work.
I don't add displace like that but i create a material with displace. It's not work . I have to add a convert node to convert the vdb convert polygone to polygone again to make it work

Could u upload a scene? Which primitives does this vdb setup generates? Displacement works only on polygons.
