alembic sequence not working

Hi,

when using an alembic sequence (filename.$F.abc) in an alembic sop, vray will only use one frame/file of the sequence.

Could you please use $F4 for now as a workaround? I'll try to fix this asap though...

With Alembics you might wanna check out writing out the whole sequence in one file - that's how many of the Alembic features are meant to work, like saving the geometry and transforms separately, retiming, etc. You'll get smaller files too.

glacierise true, but I want to distribute fluid meshing and write it directly to abc.

Yeah for fluids you don't gain much by keeping in a single file
