(Resolved) twoSided Material not working with packed Alembics

the twoSided Material does not work with (packed) Alembics - just one material is rendered for both sides. Is this an easy fix?

this seems to work as expected on my end. Could you please share the Main Menu -> V-Ray -> About V-Ray information.
Admittedly I'm usimg a very simple scene so there might be something particular going on in your setup that is breaking the assignment. If possible, sending the scene over would be the fastest way to figure things out.

Ok, this really seems to work, I tested it in your scene with my abc. so there seems to be something wrong on my end. will figure it out. thanks for the fast response.
