    hey, we are trying to use an osl texture (the thinfilm from the chaos site) and getting errors in the console (the shader does not work when rendering, thickness parameter is not visible in the parameters). using the same osl tex in vray maya seems to work. Am I missing something?

      Hey, we tried yesterday's nightly to see if osl textures work again and they seem to do (allthough we still get errormessages in the console). It appears now, that a previous bug is back, where the values on the osl node are not saved with the houdini file. So when you open up the file again, the values on the osl node are back to their default values.

        a little addon: we tried to work around this by connecting vray float nodes to the input of the osl tex, but these connections also seem to be discarded on reopening of the scene.

        if possible, a quick fix for this would be very much appreciated.
