(Resolved) default color on image file with UDIMs dont work
I realised that this has probably to do with a feature request from us from before where we can set a color on failed textures. So this probably overrides the default color. this is tricky how to solve this nicely.
some ideas though:
- remove the failed color on image file totally
- exempt udims and non diffuse. even possible?
- or have a toggle to turn this on so its off by default
the goal for us was when it fail to find a texture it would warn with a color. issue now it probably messes up with default color on the image nodes. and if it fails on for example roughness its still hard to see
So regarding your previous request it was implemented with:
Renderer -> Options -> Textures -> No Bitmap Color / No Bitmap Texture
Renderer -> Options -> Materials -> No Material Color
And I hope this'll help somehow.
