(Resolved) HQUEUE different gamma than render to disk

HEllo,

WIth Vray 4 AND vray5 when i render a frame with Render to disk, my gamma is OK.
When i render the same render node but using HQUEUE ( same computer, i don't use any network ) the gamma is wrong.

Hey ghiom3d ,

There is an issue with hython (which is used under the hood by HQueue ... and Deadline if you render from the Houdini scene directly) that we haven't been able to work around - the problem with the gamma is only present with 8-bit image file formats. Rendering in EXR should resolve it for you.
Unfortunately I can't say with certainty when/if we will be able to fix this - at the core of the problem is the fact that the gamma settings are applied through the VFB which is not used when rendering through hython.
