When rendering animated displacement like oceans, turning on motion blur creates a problem, please check out the attachment. The red wireframe is from ocean eval geometry, the gray is the displaced. They should be matching for a correct result. They do in the red wireframe image, when motion blur is off, but they don't in the other image. Now why the red color disappears too is also weird, but the mismatch in the displacement is a more serious problem. Reproduced it in a simple attached scene too.
