i cannot find for the life of me where these settings are

there is no advanced option in the Renderer / Sampler section....

    Using Houdini 18.5.408
    just downloaded the nightly too
    V-Ray for Houdini number:11621 hash:b4a0757 from 08 Feb 2021 15:00 (build number:11621)
    V-Ray Core 5.00.50 [543f92aa] from 1 Feb 2021

      Hey anthony_kyriazis ,

Indeed, the GPU Bucket Sampler has a fixed bucket size for the time being. My understanding is that the GPU team have done some testing in the past and reducing the Bucket Size causes a significant drop in performance.
Is that a feature that would benefit you?

      Best regards!

Hello, well i wanted to try and optimise rendering in cuda, when i rendered the same scene in cuda i got hanging tiles and rendertime was HUGE for 1 4k frame (36hrs), I then changed to RTX (I have a RTX 3090 and Ryzen 5950, 96gb ram) and it rendered same frimae in 6hrs.. So i was trying to figure out what was going wrong with cuda.. what i was doing wrong.

          Hey anthony_kyriazis ,

I am sure the V-Ray GPU development team would love to get their hands on that scene. If possible, please send it to support@chaosgroup.com with a link to this forum thread - we'll get back to you with additional information.

          Best regards!
