  • Local Rendering takes over mouse, keyboard and window every new frame

Rendering locally right now and it's extremely difficult to even type this message, every time I have a new frame even though V-ray rendering locally all windows minimized - each time a new frame finishes rendering my mouse, keyboard appears to be taken over by the v-ray rendering window. No clue how to fix this but it seems like a bug. It forces my current window (this one I'm typing in) in the background forcing me to click back on this window each time I want to type again. Help is appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, this is extremely annoying. It basically makes it impossible to use the computer. After every finished frame, you are "kicked out" from the typing. Interestingly, it does not affect mouse behavior.

Haha, and I just recalled another similar, little but extremely annoying thing - VRay log window and its constant "focus" on new messages. I quite often go through the log information while rendering and it always jumps at the beginning, which ultimately makes it impossible to read that stuff.

+1 for this, we can't scroll through the log and read anything until the render is finished/canceled.

Hi guys and sorry for late reply.
          Is this still happens?
What OS, Houdini and V-Ray versions you are using?
          I couldn't reproduce it on Windows with 18.5.x and V-Ray 4.3 or V-Ray 5.
