Aerial perspective and background visibility

Hi,

So, guess what, this bug is back. Aerial Perspective is visible through matte objects when "Affect Background" option is off, please fix it again.





VFH 4.30.03 from 1 April 2021. Windows and Houdini 18.0.566

In addition this, looking at the manual description of each visibility option, something else seems off.

"Affect Environment – When Disabled, the atmospheric effect is applied only to camera rays that hit actual objects, but not to rays that hit the sky."

Only applied to rays that hit objects, but as we can see in the screenshot, when affect Env is off it also stops affecting the visible objects in a certain way. It looks like the sun light is not getting scattered anymore.
