Hi,
Test scene is a grid that emits particles straight along the y axis.
If I wanted to render them with vray physical camera motion blur. That only works until the particles start do die. After that I get errors. I think because of the changing ptnum.
switching to Velocity Blur in the geometry node gives me correct mBlur but only If I keep motion blur ticked on in the vray physical cam. Turning motion Blur on in the rop node + geometry node is set to velocity Blur (without mBlur on in camera) is not working for me.
I found out that it indeed works like expected if the camera does not have any vray physical paramters. Then it uses again the parameters in the rop node.
This puzzled me a bit and I think it is a strange behavior. Am I missing something?
Jon
