  • [ HOU-2680 ] ( done ) adjusting renderer image sampler with referenced channel

    Hello,

it seems like that it is not possible to drive the renderers sample settings with a referenced channel. I provided a scene below that shows that two renderers with the same sampling/noise settings where one of them has the values referenced from another parameter and the other one is just a normal renderer do not render the same image quality (the one with the referenced channels is rendering with more noise).

note: Is it possible to provide this functionality for vrayscenes because that would be necessary for us.

    Example Scene:
    ImageSampler_parameter_reference.zip

    Thanks a lot.

    Greetings Lucca

Hi andreyluccahannes, sorry for late reply. I've checked your scene. You are right min/max subdivision for bucket sampler are not working with such expressions, on other hand progressive sampler seems to support it, so this might not be hard to fix. I've logged the problem in our system.

Referenced channel for min/max subdivs of bucket sampler is now supported.
