(resolved) [HOU-2668] Unable To Install Material Library V-Ray Houdini

So, Today I tired to install V-Ray for Houdini Version 18.5.596 Using Py3. But No matter what I do I am unable to install the martial library. Tried uninstall, clean install, restart but still same.
See the error message below. I have also attached the screenshot. Can someone help?

Hey DJ_Dhrub ,

Turns out that the download will fail if the selected folder does not exist on disk. Could you please trying creating it manually (either in windows explorer, or from the Browse button inside the V-Ray for Houdini installer) to see if that helps on your end?

Yes, It does exist. I tried that also before you said so. The installer just crash at the time of downloading without any errors. So apparently it seems nothing can be done right now.

I can say that I have exactly the same problem, nothing helps.

The interesting is, that I also installed the Vray for 3DS Max and that version could acess to the server and download the library.
In the 3DS Max folder is also an mtllib.exe for manually starting the download process, this .exe doesn't exist in the version for Houdini.

Hi, I get a crash while installing the Material Library, the installer just closes, I created the folder before and that didn't help either

Same problem for me, and also when the installer is done, there's no Houdini Shelf when I start the program... So Im dead in the water with this entirely

i got it working. Make sure your Houdini version exactly matches the Vray plugin Houdini version.

Could you confirm that the downloaded V-Ray for Houdini builds are for the right Houdini version that you are using?

The issue is resolved in our nightly builds after September 09.
Please update to a newer build and if you are not seeing them - drop a line here and I will check it right away with the dedicated team.
