  • GPU/CPU Difference with matte objects extraTex Render element

Testing with Houdini 18.5.633 and the Vray nightlie build: vray_adv_51020_houdini18.5.633_b978d1b_16542
When I am using matte objects, the extra tex render element is ignoring any settings and fully renders the render element result which is different than the CPU version, which is giving me the desired behavior. CPU render is on the left, then GPU on the right is with NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
I have an example scene I can share if needed.

Hi benfox , I am sorry for late reply. The option "Generate Render Element" in Matte Properties is not supported on GPU, that is why the object exist in render elements when rendered with GPU.
