  • (Resolved) [HOU-2730] Vray Light Texture doesn't work properly in GPU mode

    Hi, Light texture doesn't render properly in GPU mode. It looks darker and doesn't update when intensity value is changed. Any way to fix this? As our project workflow is GPU interactive based it is very annoying. Thanks

    Hello creac, I can't reproduce the problem.
    Which light is that ?
    What type of texture you are using ?
    Houdini version ?
    V-Ray version ?
    OS ?
    What is your video driver version ?
    Can you share a simple scene with the problem?

      I am using 18.5.596 on windows 10

        The problem seems to be caused by the Directional parameter of V-Ray Rectangluar Light, I've reported the problem. As a workaround the closest value where the problem does not appear is 0.99888.
