  • VrayShaderball Size bad camera render

    Hi.

I'm trying the shaderball object and every time I change the size of the render in the shaderball node the camera seems to lost the shader ball. Only in Medium size is well aligned.

Hi gagui, can't reproduce it on my side. What are your Houdini, V-Ray and OS versions ?

Hi Georgy, I'm on Houdini 19.0.498 Python3 and vray 52.0.20 21098 nightly. OS is windows 11.

Same configuration on my laptot and same result.

        Still can't reproduce it.
Looks like, the size of the render is connected to focal length of the camera.
Is the HDA edited somehow and saved after?
Is there a second shaderball , when you press tab and type "V-Ray Shaderball", maybe an edited one?
Can you try a newer V-Ray build?

I can see that the problem I described before only happens in the render view panel. If I render the shader ball in th Vray VFB it performs fine.
Now on Houdini 19.0.531 and today vray nightly the shader ball in the render view only shows the background while in VFB it renders ok
