UV randomize + Triplanar = doesn't work

  • UV randomize + Triplanar = doesn't work

    Hello.
    I want to use UV randomize and Triplanar, but seams it's doesn't work together or I set-up it incorrect. Please check screenshots below. Also maybe you can make using triplanar similar to 3ds max when I plug it Mapping sourse and can have only one Triplanar node for all maps in the shader? I use Houdini 19.0.455 and vray_adv_52020_houdini19.0.455_4c01e64_2201 from Nightlies

    Hi Mikhalenko , can you try using embedded randomizer in UV tab of ImageFile VOP.

        This particular 3dsmax setup is not supported. It could be implemented, but it'll take time.

        It's not exactly the same but you could use "V-Ray UV Projection" uv generator in "TriPlanar" mode in uvwgen input of textures.
