  • (Resolved) [HOU-3921] Bercon UV Variance by attribute

    Hi There, I was wondering if you could add the ability to use a user attribute for V-Ray UVWGenBercon variance mode. I work a lot with bercon noise and wood and applying a random offset/rotation/scale is a nightmare as I have to manually split all the geometry into multiple geo networks which can take a very long time depending on the complexity of the model.

    I'd really like to be able to use a user attribute such as class/name/id/Cd as the seed to change the variation on different geometry islands.

    please let me know if this is a possibility.

    I'd like to quickly clarify if your inquiry is regarding (1) the Variance Offset/Size/Angle parameters or (2) the Seed parameter?

            Hi Gosho.Genchev I just wanted to say thank you, I see there is now a variance parameter on the Bercon UV and it seems to be working great, thank you so much for implementing this, it's going to make my life much easier
