Command line on MacOS does not accept ; (semicolon)

I'm trying to convince the standalone renderer to render regions on MacOS. On PC it's as simple as

-region=0;0;300;400

Macos does nto seem to like the semicolons, and the normal way to escape them on Macos comand line does not seem to work.

And I suppose the same problem will appear with any other semicolon separator, like render frames.
