Issue with remapped RGB in vray volume grid

Hello,

If we have remapped temperature to a custom user channel in our case Ce.* It appears when we specify this channel in vray volume grid, it does not render, or recognize custom user RGB channel.

Hey there,

V-Ray only supports float fields for "Fire Color/Intensity" and "Smoke Opacity". The specified float field is then used to drive the ramps under the Fire and Smoke tabs of the volume grid shader.

Hi Gosho,

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to add an option in the future to use RGB emission volume as fire? It is possible now in Maya and we are looking for the same control in houdini.
