  • (Open) [HOU-4488] Crowd Agents and Motion Blur

I'm trying to render a crowd in SOP level (not solaris), without caching (tried with caching to bgeo too..) and i'm using the option "Agent Multithreaded Export" because it's takes ~15s to launch the IPR, otherwise with it turned off it takes at least 2-3 min just to launch the render.

However, with that option on the motion blur is completely wrong and buggy (extreme values...). With the parameter off it renders fine.

Tried using "Use Rayserver Mode" + "Detect Agent Instances", but motion blur is still buggy.

What's the correct workflow to render with motion blur? Shouldn't Vray read the agent info and calculate the velocity based on that?

    Unpacking to calculate v is a non-option.

    Suggestions?

    Hey mori4h ,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Indeed, the same behavior is present on our end. We will investigate and message back when an update is available.

    Best regards!
