Hi elisa_christie I tested your scene with the same Houdini version and V-Ray build and it worked as expected. No Crash. I will attach a video below.

Have you tested with other V-Ray builds? Does it crash only with this one?
Have you tested with other Cloud Files?
Could you, please, crash it intentionally again, collect the following file and share them with us.
- any crashlog generated from Houdini itself - mainly it is stored in C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/Temp/houdini_temp after the crash

Hi elisa_christie I can now see that the crash is reproducible with GPU. We have this logged into our system [HOU-4521]

We managed to reproduce it now with IPR in CPU as well. Thank you for the report! We will make sure to contact you if we have any news regarding this.
