Does Vray Toon Material works in Solaris? As I tried it to add, but nothing happened, toon effect not added 19,5,569 Vray vray_adv_61009_houdini19.5.569_2bdc6c6_22432

Thank you for reaching out to us! The issue has been replicated on our side, classified as a bug (HOU-3882) and escalated to the Development team for further inspection and resolution.

Maybe it was for old account. For current accout that I have send you in Direct Message I have acceses for nightlies but only stable versions, not nightly

Thanks. Just tested. on CPU Toon Material seems work fine. but on GPU version it not work?

Also I have a problem with geometry in Vray. On first screenshot is vray render. on second just Houdini viewport, and third is Karma. As you can see, in Vray there some problem on render

We are using standard triangulation methods from the USD library; if you render with Storm you'll probably see the same issue. The only workaround for now is to add additional triangulation manually.

Please, note that the V-Ray Toon is only supported on CPU. You can find what is supported on GPU here: https://docs.chaos.com/display/VRAYH...orted+Features

Regarding the geometry issues you are facing, please, refer to Andrei's (Bdancer) comment.

Hi, thank you for implementing this feature into Solaris, I do have one question, how do you get the edges to work? as I was reading the documentation I saw you need to add the toon effect to the Vray Enviroment Node, how do you do this in Solaris?

We are currently implementing the Toon effect support in Solaris; should be in the nightlies in a week or so.
