  • Can't get hairSampler to work in latest stable build

    So we just updated to the latest stable build ( 22748 ) to dodge a bug related to velocity-based mblur, but now it seems the curve shading on our assets broke. The shading relies heavily on the hairSampler node and I can't get that to output anything in the new VRay - only solid/default values.

    See attached scene (there are also before/after screenshots included in the zip).

    Hey Dan Andersen ,

    This was my bad, please accept my apologies. We hit the issue while testing but the development team was not informed on time and the bug slipped into the stable builds. We'll update the stable builds as soon as possible with the fix.
