    Hi, setting custom normal and tangent inputs to the normalmap node in V-Ray seems to have no effect, here I am inverting them, but the result is no different than default behaviour.

    In Karma, the normals correctly flip if I input the inverted normals and tangents to the normalmap node.

      Hey thanks for your reply I submitted a ticket with an example project attached. I linked this forum post in the ticket. Just to give some clearer examples:
