  • VRscans and ACEScg

    Hi,

VRscans has been a big investment for us, we have used them in nearly every project. And now that we will move to ACES soon, I'm asking if there is a way of using the scans with ACES
Right now the scans render very differently with an ACEScg setup, there is a colorspace menu with options for sRGB, Pro Photo RGB and Adobe RGB
Can we get an ACEScg option or is there a way we can use the scans with ACES?

Hi Muhammed_Hamed , according to vrscans developers this color space parameter is ignored /and we will remove it/, the color space is automatically captured from ROP. You could set ACEScg in V-Ray ROP>Renderer>Color Mapping>RGB Color Space, V-Ray will do the rest.
