  • Add scaling to vrscene import.

    Hi,
very straightforward request to save adding extra transform nodes.

It would be very nice if you can add a scale option to the vrayScene node. It seems that vrscene files don't carry any meta info on unit setup in the exporting application. Thus two drop down lists with From: (mm, cm , inch, etc.) and To: (houdini unit default, mm, cm , inch, etc.) plus a scale factor (ex 0.01) would be very handy.

Additionally if that is possible, an offset option would be nice with some buttons for BBox (min, max, center) for each axis could help quickly reposition geometry that was exported a bit off in the world.

    Thank you.

Simply rescaling the scene should work, but it can cause issues with parameters set to different scene scale /like shadow bias for lights, displacement amount etc./ Best approach is to use same scene scale in both DCC.

Yes. The problem is with library objects from 3rd parties. Thank you.
