VFB vs Houdini (Regional Settings ignore)

Houdini "not respect" Regional Settings at all for floats decimal symbol - "dot" everywhere

V-Ray is trying to train you to use the correct decimal symbol (a dot)
They're doing it gradually so that you won't have a nervous breakdown.

I've tested on my end by changing the regional settings - those appear to be correctly respected. Changing it from a dot to a comma, and back to a dot worked for me.

Why plugin "correctly respected" what Houdini simply ignores?

Well I guess this is a question for Autodesk?

Both applications are using Qt.
Qt has decimal symbol as locale setting.
Maya may override this locale setting while Houdini may have implemented their own number input widget with custom drawing.
