What's new is that we now support more interpolation types for the ramp positions - specifically the "none" interpolation type for ramp position is what the Maya Toon Shaders use a lot.

I am using Vray 3.6.02 on Maya 2017 with OSX.
I know that one advertised feature in 3.6 is that Vray lights, environments, and materials now show up in Maya's viewport 2.0. I am having trouble getting this to work, everything is still unlit. Is this feature compatible with Maya 2017 for OSX? Is this DirectX only?
Thanks,
ChrisB

We had to disable this feature for 2017 specifically because of a bug in Maya. It was reported to Autodesk and they fixed this in 2018, so the lights and environment reflections are working there with the OpenGL viewport 2.0 modes.
