Flour material

Has anyone here experimented with creating a dough ball type of material ? Something that has enough mixed flour in it that creates a bit of that peach fuzz feel on the surface ? I have a few ideas I want to experiment with but it would be interesting to hear some insight from people that have already ventured down this path.
